Widows Empowerment Drive 2025
The Widows Empowerment Drive is our annual outreach dedicated to restoring dignity, hope, and opportunity to widows through compassion, solidarity, and empowerment. Each year, we bring widows together for a day of community through shared meals, counselling, empowerment talks, and the provision of essential support. We stand beside women navigating life after loss reminding them that they are not alone.
Why It Matters
For many women, the loss of a husband brings not only grief but also economic hardship and social isolation. Widows are often left vulnerable and without support. The Widows Empowerment Drive exists to turn grief into strength, offering widows dignity, community, and a chance to rebuild their lives.
What Happens at the Event
Dining Together
We share a warm meal in an atmosphere of love, dignity, and community.
Counselling Support
Trained professionals provide emotional counselling to help widows navigate grief, trauma, and the challenges of single parenthood.
Voices of Strength
A strong widow who has rebuilt her life shares her personal story, offering wisdom, encouragement, and hope to others.
Practical Relief
Each widow receives financial assistance, food items, and clothing, immediate support to ease daily burdens.
