The Women of Legacy Foundation was founded on the belief that empowering women is the key to creating a just and sustainable world and every woman and child deserves the opportunity to thrive. The Organization has been transforming lives since 2013. Our journey began with personal acts of compassion, and in 2021, we became a registered non-profit organization in Ghana dedicated to empowering women and children. Through education, healthcare, and economic empowerment initiatives, we are committed to building sustainable solutions for lasting change.

At the Women of Legacy Foundation, we believe in the untapped potential of women and children. Inspired by the powerful words of Barack Obama, we understand that empowering women is not only the right thing to do, it’s the smart thing to do. Our work focuses on fostering safe, supportive, and empowering environments where women and children can grow with dignity and fully realize their potential.

MAIN OBJECTIVE

To provide holistic transformation for vulnerable women and children in Ghana through comprehensive training, empowerment, and access to life-changing opportunities and resources that enable them to thrive and succeed.

Increase Awareness and Mobilize Resources

To raise awareness of critical issues affecting vulnerable women and children in Ghana through targeted educational initiatives and advocacy while mobilizing resources for their empowerment and livelihood opportunities.

Empowerment and Skills Development

To equip vulnerable women and children with the necessary skills and resources for success, enhancing their ability to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

Health and Well-Being

To provide free health screenings and access to essential health services, improving health outcomes and overall well-being for vulnerable populations.

Research and Policy Collaboration

To conduct research and collaborate with government and international organizations to address the needs of vulnerable populations through effective policy implementation.

Partnership Building

To strengthen partnerships that enhance community support systems, ensuring the effective implementation and sustainability of our programs.
